Hi everyone! If you are reading this, you either know me quite well or you are an amazing person. I’m Rex, and I am doing the blogging as a journaling way to get the most out of life. I want you to get the most out of life as well. Make sure to enjoy the journey while reaching your goals!
It is very hard for someone to explain who they are. I don’t think that I can define myself in one paragraph. But I will try my best. I was born in 1995, grew up in France, and have been a digital nomad for the past 5 years before ultimately making the tough decision to settle in NYC for a bit. I love Russian, French, and Mexican culture the most, although I do enjoy Asian culture quite a bit as well, having lived in Taiwan for some time as well as in China for a bit. I love skiing, skating, surfing, sailing, dancing, being active in general. Some would call me an extrovert, I am not sure if I am an extrovert but I manage to talk to others easily, it might be thanks to the few years of sales experience that I did. I love the stock market and trading — it feels amazing when you spot an opportunity that nobody else sees, push a simple button and boom you just doubled your money. But ultimately, I love freedom, and hearing what others have to say without always needing to provide my on input or opinion. I like being healthy, because they say that healthier means happier sleep better perform better everything.
I am writing this blog to mainly make myself accountable towards what I need to get done/what I want to get done these next few years. I want to become an overall better person. I want to achieve my goals that I set forth, from getting more toned at the gym to being the true “AI slop master” (which is kind of what I do at work: I just use AI to automate everything possible for everyone around me). I will practice mediation and still remain religious, putting on Tefillin every day. I want to get really good at Russian, ideally even go to St Petersburg to study for a bit. I want to get back on the Chinese language grind. I want to meet more people, find a group of friends. Overall, although I still want to travel, I am ready to settle and I want to settle somewhere amazing like NYC, London, or Paris.
As I am typing this, I may have gotten a job offer that will shape the course of my life for the next few years. I can’t wait to share with you guys all of the amazing adventures that will happen!
